BollaLe Poiane Valpolicella Classico DOC 1995 |
The grapes of this wine were picked by hand from the vines of the
Valpolicella Classico region. Jago, a small village in the municipal district of
Negrar, is a hilly area that has always supplied the best grapes for fine
Valpolicella and also for the select raisinized grapes used for superb Amarone.
The vinification process does not follow strict rules: depending on the
season's climate and available grapes, the oenologist decides what must be
done to obtain the desired result. Le Poiane Vintage 1995 is the result of a
"ripasso" method (the wine is refermented on Amarone skins). Area of origin: Hillside vineyards of the Valpolicella Classico Region Grape variety: Mainly Corvina and Corvinone, Rondinella, Molinara.
