Area of origin: Hillside vineyards of the Valpolicella Classico Region Grape variety: Mainly Corvina and Corvinone, Rondinella, Molinara. Soil type: Poor, marl-based soils with thin bands of clay. Alcoholic content: 12.5 %Vol. Production technique: Matured for about two years (depending on vintage) in oak casks and for 1 year in bottle before being released. Colour: Garnet red. Flavour: Complex and well balanced with persistent notes of cherry jam and spices. Residual sugar: 2 gr/l. Total acidity: 5,7 gr/l. Shelf life: Stored correctly, it may be aged in the bottle for 4/5 years. Serving temperature: 18°C (64°F), opening the bottle at least 1 hour before drinking.
